The photo of the leaves is sooo beautiful, and something I don’t often see as I’m surrounded mostly by pine and cedar trees. We’re just about at our peak around here, so I went for a drive today and was rewarded w/ fiery beautiful autumn colors! Lovely.

But I really must ask: You live in Russia. WHY??

Why do I live in Russia?

Well, a series of events piqued my interest in this country and motivated me to start studying the Russian language at my university. After two intensive summer programmes here and one academic year at a Russian university I kind of just decided to stay in Moscow… for now.

I’m a traveler at heart and never see myself settling down in one place; I was raised as a globetrotter and I plan to die someday still battling a constant wanderlust. Right now I have a very serious relationship and one of those job things keeping me here in Moscow. As those things progress, we’ll see where we end up next…

had a spare minute so went to look at your profile in more detail :)
first, lots of respect for studying Russian! I used to teach Russian as a foreign language so I know what you had to face :)
second, have you been to St Petersburg? as a person with interest in photography and Russia you will love it, I am sure
and third, you have got a very impressive newsletter here, are there any opportunities of posting our work?
