I find it intriguing that ever since I did that short little series on cheating in Russian schools and universities, I’ve been getting quite a few Google hits from the search terms курсовая, реферат, and диплом.

Interesting. Could this be students looking for these types of papers online?

Just a last thing about tricks and cheating…when riding on the train there are always tons of vendors selling anything that is possible! Yesterday there was a man selling a “spy” pen for students to use at exams (very practical nowadays). He said KGB used this pen in the past. :-) you write on the paper with invisible ink and have absolutely clear paper, then at the exam, your push a special button on the pen and it shines ultraviolet rays and you see everything that is written on the paper. Cool!! It was for 150 rubles (5 dollars) I didn’t get it though :-)
