It’s a poem in Russian. Do you not see the Cyrillic characters?

katie

Yeah I see the Cyrillic letters. But what does it say in English Please =)

I don’t have time now to preserve the rhyme scheme of the poem, so this is just a literal translation:

Having seen much, having known much,
Having known both hate and love,
Possessing everything and losing it all,
Then discovering it all again,
Having tasted all earthly things
And still hungry for life
Possessing everything and
Afraid of losing it all once more. . .

Maybe I’ll come up with a translation that maintans the rhyme scheme during my time off in Irkutsk next week.
