Anybody want to go on a cruise this December? I’m serious. . .
Alpha and Omega Ministries (James White, Rich Pierce) are holding a weeklong cruise from December 6-13. Due to all the fear-mongering going on right now, the travel business has apparently taken a hit.
Those of us who aren’t afraid of Iraqi submarine attacks get a great deal out of this! They are offering a CAT-M ticket for $306! This ticket is usually around $1000 dollars, folks! That includes all your food, room, seminars, etc. . .
The cruise webpage has not updated these prices yet, but I imagine that if you call the numbers on the site, they can hook you up.
Not only do you get everything on the 5 Star Holland America Zaandam, but you get amazing conference seminars with Dr. James White. His books and radio programs are absolutely amazing. It’s well worth it.
I’m totally serious. Does anyone want to do this. Email me or comment if you want to do it. We’d have to decide awfully soon.

Jules, you’ll probably be graduating and heading off to Russia around that time if I remember correctly.

So now that I have looked at the info on the cruise, it sounds really awesome! I went to that seminar at FSU about bringing Christians and Muslims together (quite interesting!) and learned a lot about Islam from some people that I talked with after! Do you have any of Dr. White’s books Tom?
Anyway, $300 is an incredible price for a good conference, ’cause you would probably have to get a plane ticket to get to a good conference! I am sure I could come up with that much!

Yes, I do have some of Dr. White’s books, however, none of them concern Islam. I have The God Who Justifies, a book on justification and sanctification, and The Potter’s Freedom, an excellent book on the Doctrines of Grace.
I have read his books on Mormonism (Is the Mormon my Brother? and Letters to a Mormon Elder). I think you would like them as well. You can order them here and here as well.

Thanks for the info on the books! So no one else wants to go on this cruise? I can’t believe it!
I talked to my mom about it a bit today, she was shocked at the price. She didn’t like the idea of me not going to the graduation ceremony though! I asked her which she would rather do– sit and wait hours to walk across a stage to get a piece of paper that they will give me anyway or go on a cruise. She just wants a picture of me “graduating”. I told her it would make a nice graduation present!! So are you still considering going? When will you know if you get the internship things you applied for in Russia?

According to the latest (April 15) Dividing Line webcast, the same exact CAT-M rooms that you can get through AOM are selling for 1600 dollars on Travelocity.
